In Conversation with Adi Nes, Followed by a Performance by Yula Beeri

Join photographer Adi Nes to celebrate his inaugural show at Fotografiska New York. Adi will describe his personal artistic language and touch upon issues hidden within the layers of his photographs: the use of canonical icons and social ideas ascribed to them, staged photography and how it creates reality as opposed to reflecting reality, and the various faces of Israeli identity.

The event will be followed by a special musical performance by Yula Beeri and Friends. Yula Beeri is an Israeli composer, musician, and performer. She has been performing music in New York City for the past ten years. Yula is the founder of the music and arts collective The Extended Family an ever-morphing poetic tribe based at The Hive NYC in Brooklyn.
