Mark Vigeant (FunnyOrDie, Prairie Home Companion, UCB) invites audiences into the world wide web for a night of HTML-arious laughs. Using algorithms, demonstrations, presentations and more, Mark will expose the lighter side of programming. Each show will feature fake STEM-inspired lectures by some of NYC’s best comedians, as well as a big fancy headliner who will leave the show with a brand new website built that very night based on audience suggestions. Featuring house band Tar Of, Joe Rumrill, Josh Sharp (The Opposition with Jordan Klepper),  Chrissy Shackelford (UCB, Story Pirates)

Press Quotes:

“Vigeant is quirky as hell, weirdly charismatic, and, above all, acts like he’s just happy to be on stage.” – Heath Ellison, Charleston City Paper

“Vigeant has created an enjoyable and silly adult-themed show that makes HTML cool again.” – Brianna Kirkham, The Post and Courier

MarkVigeant.net is a Geocities-style nostalgia trip for people who think the internet is too advanced” – Sam Barsanti, the AV Club
