Are you the funny one in your family? Have people said: “You should be a stand-up comedian” and you agree with them? Well, if you’re ready to give it a try in a no-pressure, supportive environment this workshop is for you. Bring your ideas that you’ve jotted down on cocktail napkins, in notebooks, and laptops and let’s get stated.

You’ll learn the basics of stand-up comedy from professional comedian Leighann Lord. She’s been seen on Lifetime’s Girls Night Out, ABC’s The View, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen and The Original HBO Def Comedy All Star Jam. She wrote for the pilot of The Chris Rock Show, and can be heard as a cohost on StarTalk Radio with Dr. Neil de Grasse Tyson. Watch Leighann here.
