Israel Story LIVE: That’s What She Said

In honor of the historic U.S. elections, our friends at Israel Story present a new live show featuring a very specific kind of protagonists–women! That’s What She Said features stories of and about Israeli women: from the life-long friendship between Moshe Dayan’s 99-year-old widow and Yasser Arafat’s mother-in-law (yes, no joke!) through the quest of a young Israeli kid obsessed with collecting the signatures of the country’s female members of Knesset to a heartwarming tale of post-Holocaust motherhood, this evening will showcase exciting stage adaptations of some of the show’s classic stories, alongside new stories of strong, funny, and pioneering Israeli ladies!

Join us for an evening of magical live radio with the creators of Israel Story–the award-winning radio show and podcast that public radio icon Ira Glass calls “the Israeli ‘This American Life.’” With its unique blend of live storytelling and surprising multimedia, Israel Story introduces us to a different Israel, one which we rarely get a chance to see: life-sized, nuanced, funny, and touching. Be sure to get your tickets soon, as these evenings sell out fast!

Israel Story LIVE is made possible by the generous support of Faye and Hartley Koschitzky, the Charles H. Revson Foundation and Israel’s Office of Cultural Affairs in North America.
