Israelis are a nation of storytellers. Israel Story is a podcast showcasing the plurality of ‘Israeliness’. Join us at Baruch Performing Arts Center (BPAC) for a brand new live show ‘That’s What She Said’ featuring stories by and about Israeli women, stories from the life-long friendship between Moshe Dayan’s 99-year-old widow and Yasser Arafat’s mother-in-law, to a Bedouin woman’s “silent revolution,” to a Jewish transgender woman’s identity exploration and journey to self-discovery, and more! With radio-style storytelling, live music, singing, and other mixed media magic, the evening presents stage adaptations of the show’s already classic stories, alongside new stories of strong, funny, and pioneering Israeli women. You won’t want to miss the talented team’s stories told live on stage! The New York Times.
