Jim J’s Jukebox: The Great American Songbook, from Vaudeville to Tin Pan Alley; from Broadway to Hollywood

American Songbook expert and buff Jim Jimirro shares insights, behind-the-scene anecdotes and music from his vast collection. Thousands around the world have enjoyed his vibrant and informed perspective on the music of Berlin, Porter, Kern and Gershwin, the lyrics of Mercer, Hart and Hammerstein, and the stylings of Sinatra and Fitzgerald.

Jim’s presentations are packed with music, stories and humor, but it’s his passion that sets these lectures apart. His way of hearing this music in a special way—and bringing others along for the ride.

Jim is founding president of the Disney Channel and is now Chairman of the selection committee for Traditional Pop at National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammys).
