JLF at New York

Teamwork Arts, producers of the ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival, bring to New York an iconic event featuring internationally acclaimed authors and thinkers. JLF at New York runs from September 19-20 with a range of provocative panels and debates to discuss the issues that shape our thoughts and perspectives at the Asia Society.

JLF at New York will be held in association with Asia Society and Museum, an educational organization dedicated to promoting mutual understanding and strengthening partnerships among peoples, leaders and institutions of Asia and the United States in a global context, and the Consulate General of India.This event is in partnership with the South Asia Institute at Columbia University.

Along with the festival directors Namita Gokhale and William Dalrymple, confirmed speakers include Navtej Sarna, Ambassador of India to the United States, cardiologist and New York Times bestselling author Sandeep Jauhar, surgeon and story-teller Sharad Paul, Shakespeare scholar James Shapiro, debut novelist Preti Taneja, and politician and bestselling author Shashi Tharoor.

Now in its second season in New York City, JLF at New York makes its debut at the Asia Society this year.
