Joy Behar’s Comics With Benefits – A Benefit Performance for Hurricane Sandy Relief

“Joy Behar’s Comics with Benefits” will feature Behar and some of her stand-up comic friends including Andy Borowitz, winner of the first National Press Club award for humor, Emmy-Award winning actress Judy Gold, Mario Cantone and John Fugelsang, in addition to other notable names in the worlds of TV, film, theater and music. Current co-founder Vice President Al Gore and actress and singer Liza Minnelli and others will appear in special videotaped appearances during the special. All talent is subject to change.

100% of the proceeds will go to two key agencies working to help Hurricane Sandy victims: UJA-Federation of New York, which provides cash assistance, temporary housing, food and far more to the thousands of New Yorkers struggling in the aftermath of the storm and Rebuilding Together, which provides critical repairs and renovations for homeowners affected by natural disasters.
