Judy Pfaff On Her Work

A New York-based, internationally recognized artist, Judy Pfaff is the recipient of numerous distinctions including a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Award; a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Sculpture Center; and Fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. Her work is included in permanent museum collections throughout the country including the Museum of Modern Art, NY; the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY; the Brooklyn Museum of Art, NY; and others. She was honored as the Milton Avery Distinguished Professor of Art, Bard College (1989, 1991).
