Karl Ove Knausgaard Presents Autumn

In conversation with Katie Kitamura

Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgaard developed a passionate following of readers for his phenomenally successful My Struggle series. This fall he introduces a stunning new autobiographical quartet, a jewel-box encyclopedia of the world that builds in poignancy and intensity as the seasons change. The first short volume in this new series, Autumn, is comprised of letters written each day to his daughter Anne, beginning before her birth. The first installment in a year-long literary event, Autumn is a marvelously accessible introduction for those not familiar with Karl Ove Knausgaard’s earlier work, and a divine pleasure for his fans. Knausgaard talks about his work and his new project with novelist Katie Kitamura, author most recently of the acclaimed novel A Separation. Book signing to follow.

Each $30 ticket includes admission to the event, as well as a hardcover copy of Autumn; books are distributed at the event. Karl Ove Knausgaard will sign and personalize books following the discussion (unlimited copies of Autumn and up to two backlist titles per person).
