Latin American Cultural Week

The 11th annual Latin American Cultural Week continues through November 21 with dozens of performing and visual arts events in Manhattan and the boroughs, presented by PAMAR, founded and directed by Polly Ferman of Uruguay. Upcoming highlights include the Manhattan Camerata, joined by renowned bandoneonist Daniel Binelli (who toured the world with the orchestra of Astor Pizzolla), and virtuoso pianist Polly Ferman.   Wednesday Nov. 9, 9:30 PM at Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker St, NYC.  Great tango dancer from Argentina Gabriel Misse and partner Carla Espinoza will perform in Milongas and teach tango seminars at the Dardo Galletto Studios, 151 West 46 St.  through November 21st.  Other events take place at St. Peter’s Church,  Consulate General of Argentina, Brooklyn Music School, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Repertorio Espanol, and many more.  For a full schedule and details please visit www.lacw.net.
