Le Ombre di Rosso’s Venitian Songwriter Fabio Fantuzzi Live at The Bitter End

On January 7, 2018, at 9:30 pm the Italian songwriter Fabio Fantuzzi will perform at the Village landmark The Bitter End.

A well-established Venitian folksinger and a scholar in literature to music, in his over 15 years’ experience as a multi-instrumentalist (vocal, guitar, banjo, and harmonica) Fantuzzi has played in several bands and joined countless music projects, recording folk-blues inspired albums. In recent years, together with the composer Andrea Alzetta, he founded the Italian band Le Ombre di Rosso, the release of whose first album “Momenti di Lucidità” (2016) was followed by a two years tour in Italy and southern Europe. Over the last few months, the same band has put to music a collection of poems written by the famous Italian-American poet Luciano Cecchinel. Named after the collection “Da sponda a sponda”, the resulting album will be published by Xanaxrecords in Spring 2018.
