Lecture: The Sound of Music—The History Behind the Beloved Musical

Entertainment historian John Kenrick will be giving a talk on The Sound of Music: The History Behind the Musical on the rooftop of the Sutton Place Synagogue (225 E 51st St, NYC) on Tuesday July 23, 2019 at 7:30 PM. John will pull back the curtain to tell the true story of the Von Trapps and how Rodgers & Hammerstein brought their story came to the stage and screen.
