Leonardo da Vinci at the Hermitage and the Louvre

Zoya Kuptsova, curator of Italian painting from the 13th-16th centuries at the State Hermitage Museum and Vincent Delieuvin, chief curator of Italian 16th-century paintings at the Louvre, discuss the particular importance of Leonardo da Vinci to both institutions.

Mr. Delieuvin will broach the subject of the making of the recent unprecedented retrospective on Leonardo da Vinci, focusing on the image of the Belle Ferronnière, while Zoya Kuptsova will present the masterpiece Benois Madonna and its fascinating provenance, from private collections to the Imperial Museum.

The program will be moderated by Helen Stoilas, Editor, Americas at The Art Newspaper.
