A words-and-music evening to mark the publication of the fourth and final volume of The Letters of Samuel Beckett: 1966-1989, which shows the author struggling to cope with ever-growing international fame (he won the Nobel Prize in 1969), producing some of his finest stage, TV and prose works and turning his attention to his legacy.

Letters will be read alongside a performance of one of Beckett’s favorite chamber pieces, Schubert’s Rosamunde Quartet.
