Limon Dance Company

The renowned Limon Dance Company celebrates its 75th Anniversary Season with two weeks of live performances at the Joyce, April 19 through May 1 with two different programs.

First week, Program A: Psalm and Chaconne by Jose Limon; Air for the G String by Doris Humphrey; and the world premiere of Only One Will Rise, choreography by Olivier Tarpaga of Burkina Faso.

Second week, Program B: Danzas Mexicanas and Waldstein Sonata by Limon; World Premiere of Migrant Mother by Mexican choreographer Raul Tamez.

Under the artistic direction of Dante Puleio, the Limon Dance Company continues to honor its legacy through the preservation, reconstruction, and reimagining of repertory works while adding new choreographies by exceptional young dancemakers.
