The Schomburg Center and the Studio Museum in Harlem’s inHarlem initiative proudly present the summer 2017 kickoff of our Live From the Archive series, which features conversations between scholars, artists, community activists, and staff members of our Manuscripts, Archives and Rare Books Division whose work is at the intersection of the archive. 2016 Joyce Alexander Wein Artist Prize-winning multidisciplinary artist Derrick Adams will join us to talk about his eagerly anticipated new work inspired by black fashion pioneer Patrick Kelly.
