Live Classic Album Sundays

We all need to look after ourselves during these challenging times and music can help. Listening to music can improve memory, aid healing, alleviate pain, decrease stress and more. With that in mind, we have created a weekly program of online events to ease anxiety, educate, connect and have fun!

Live Classic Album Sundays sessions every Sunday at 8pm on the Classic Album Sundays Facebook page

Each Sunday at 8 pm GMT, one of our worldwide hosts will present a live Classic Album Sundays session, telling the story behind the featured album. After the presentation, participants can play the album in their own home on any available format, but following the CAS listening session guidelines: uninterrupted and refraining from any other activity including talking. We encourage our listeners to close their eyes and entirely devote themselves to the music. At the end of the album, we will return to the Facebook post and discuss the album and our experience in the comments section. And for fans who want more: we will post a ‘Musical Lead-Up’ playlist earlier in the day to whet your appetite prior to the live session.

10 May: Joe Lapan (CAS Washington DC) presents Fugees ‘The Score’
17th May: Adrian Holmes (CAS Orkney) presents Marillion ‘Misplaced Childhood’
17th May: Jean-Philippe Ducharne (CAS Sydney) on Talk Talk ‘Spirit of Eden’ 8pm AEST (11am BST)
24th May: Kent Horne (CAS Oslo) Steve Reich ‘Music For 18 Musicians’

When: Sun., Apr. 26, 2020 at 4:00 pm
