Abramson spent two years with the leaders and staffs of the four companies to understand the recent history of the news media and its prospective future in the face of rapidly changing technologies, shifting business models, and a president who almost daily assails the mainstream media as fake news.

She will speak about her book with long-time friend and co-author of Strange Justice: The Selling of Clarence Thomas, investigative reporter Jane Mayer.
