Lost Broadway Theaters with Jennifer Ashley Tepper & Guests

Join Jennifer Ashley Tepper, Ken Billington, Maria Di Dia, Michael John LaChiusa, and Don Scardino for this special event.

The Untold Stories of Broadway author Jennifer Ashley Tepper tells the tales of Broadway’s lost theaters. While we have 41 houses standing, there have been dozens of other Broadway theaters over the years that have been demolished or forced into disuse. From the lavish Mark Hellinger Theatre, once home of My Fair Lady and Jesus Christ Superstar (now the Times Square Church)… to the Edison, once home of Oh, Calcutta! (now the Edison Ballroom)… to the treasured Morosco, Helen Hayes, Bijou and others that were torn down to build the Marriott Marquis, go behind the scenes at the theaters that are no longer.Jennifer will be joined by special guest interviewees from her book series who have worked in these lost houses to give audience members a unique perspective on what they were like. Ken Billington, Maria Di Dia, Michael John LaChiusa, and Don Scardino will share one-of-a-kind stories of working in Broadway’s lost theaters!
