Why We Love to Hate Hipsters

RSVP here for this web event.

Why do we love to hate hipsters? What’s so bad about being cool?

Ah, but are hipsters actually cool—or even hip?

This conversation will invite you to think about the hip, the hipster, and how they relate to one another, as well as exploring topics like gentrification, cultural identities, status, and in-groups and out-groups.

Nationally renowned academic expert on the hipster, Dr. Terri Anderson, joins Dr. Bonnie Oglensky for a coversation both playful and serious about all things hip.
