How a Maine furniture maker was selected to design and build the first iconic reading chair for the New York Public Library since 1911
In collaboration with the New York Public Library, Maine furniture maker Thos. Moser designed a chair that is more than just a piece of furniture for its patrons – but also a symbol of the Library, its mission, and its vision for the future.
Please join Jewett Farms + Co, Thos. Moser and the New York Public Library, as we discuss the philosophy behind the chair's design and construction, its role within the library, and how a piece of Maine craftsmanship is now at home in NYC.
Refreshments and social time to follow, RSVP required.
