Make Some Noise: A Celebration of Women and Music

Join Barnard College and Summer on the Hudson (NYC Parks & Riverside Park Conservancy) for the fourth annual free Make Some Noise concert celebrating women and music. Enjoy unforgettable performances by student and alumni musicians from New York City colleges and universities in a lovely setting. Bring a blanket, or borrow one of our chairs, and hear from up-and-coming women artists reinventing pop, jazz, funk and much more. The performances takes place from 5–8:30 PM; stop by anytime. #MakeSomeNoise. Rain date is Sunday, May 13.

Drunk June (NYU Tisch School of the Arts)
Guitar and cello are combined in this Brooklyn-based indie folk duo

Singer-songwriter mixing folk music with percussive guitar
