Maker Peer Mentoring Happy Hour

If you identify as a maker, an artisan, or a small batch maker, this event is for you.

Join Distill Creative and Handheld Handmade for a maker’s industry peer networking event on Sunday, August 11th from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

We’ve all been there. You’re struggling to find a solution to your current problem, thinking you’re alone in your misery. But with so many creative entrepreneurs, makers, artisans, and designers in New York, you are hardly alone. This is your chance to network and commiserate with your fellow industry peers and work through your current pain point.

Come prepared with your business cards, your sales pitch, and your biggest pain point. We’ll practice and workshop to find a solution with your peers.

Come at 5:00 pm to get settled in and unwind with a glass of wine. At 5:30 we’ll start problem swapping. Think of it as speed dating but with solutions to your business problems. You’ll have the chance to practice your sales pitch and talk through one of your biggest pain points of the moment with other artisans and makers who are going through similar struggles.

5:00 – Welcome, registration, and networking. Enjoy a glass of wine and snacks!

5:30 – Speed workshop. You’ll be paired with an industry peer to practice your sales pitch and workshop your current pain point. After 15 minutes we’ll switch and do it all over again.
