Marina Abramovic

For four decades performance artist Marina Abramović has used her own body as a medium, pushing herself beyond her limits. After her landmark retrospective at MoMA in 2010, she collaborated with director Robert Wilson, singer-composer Antony Hegarty and performer Willem Dafoe, to create an experimental opera based on her biography. The work, “The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic,” will be performed at Luminato in Toronto June 14-17.
