VIP tickets $45 (includes book and pre-event reception). Free tickets are sold out.

New York Times food writer Mark Bittman presents the twentieth anniversary edition of his famed cookbook How to Cook Everything, the definitive guide to simple home cooking since its original publication. This new edition has been completely revised for today’s cooks while retaining Bittman’s trademark minimalist style: easy-to-follow recipes and variations, and tons of ideas and inspiration. And, new for this edition, recipes are showcased throughout with color photos, making this classic cookbook more indispensable than ever. Bittman celebrates the launch of this twentieth anniversary edition of a landmark in American food with a reception and conversation with fellow New York Times food writer and cookbook author Melissa Clark, at St. Joseph’s College as part of the Brooklyn Voices series.

Admission to this event is free, but RSVP is required. A limited number of VIP tickets include a copy of How to Cook Everything and a pre-event reception with Mark from 6 PM to 7 PM. Ticket-bundled books are distributed on site, and additional books are for sale. Mark Bittman will sign books following the discussion.
