Mark Dresser LIVESTREAM: Presented By SideBar

7pm New Orleans Time!

SPREAD THIS WORD TO EVERYONE IN THE WORLD WHO LOVES OUR KIND OF creative “Sound-Sculpture”!!!

There will be gratefully accepted tipping to support Mr. Dresser and the SideBar, which has presented cutting-edge music in New Orleans since 2017 and become an international underground legendary space. Mark Dresser is a Grammy-nominated, internationally renowned bass player, improviser, composer, and interdisciplinary collaborator.

(8pm New York time is 5pm San Diego Time, from whence Mark Dresser will be streaming live form his home)–(that’s around midnight or 1am in the morning if you’re in, say…..Cologne or Paris or Rotterdam or Lisbon…)

Mark has suggested he may be joined for part of this event by a duo partner from yet another locale for interactive play, and part of the show is certainly solo bass by one of the planet’s foremost practitioners and inspirations.

Maestro Dresser was scheduled to play in our room at the SideBar Nola earlier this week… but his vacation and gig were of course postponed… But we are honored to present this concert in its place, reaching a far wider audience than the 40-ish lucky local folks who would’ve squashed into the SideBar to meet him in person…
