Composer/librettist Martin Halpern presents his serio-comic chamber opera “Constancy,” freely based on Anton Chekhov’s “The Bear.” “Constancy” revolves around an on-again, off-again relationship between two needy people – a childless young widow and an often rejected bachelor who finally find a true meeting ground. Performers are soprano Samantha Britt, baritone Jim Trainor, tenor Aram Tchobanian, and pianist Earl Buys.  Three performances, Feb. 9, 10 & 11 at 8 PM.
