Martita Goshen’s Earthworks Premieres “Sanctuary”

Dancer/choreographer Martita Goshen presents her Earthworks in the premiere of “Sanctuary,” her final work honoring the nobility and goodness of the magnificent racehorse Barbaro. The full evening work reflects on the questions of reconciling loss and finding comfort in creating our own refuge from the ruins. Ms. Goshen will be joined by dancers Morgan Bryant, Grace Ho, Ioanna Ioannides, Richard Kilfoil, and Patricia Ruiz.  The tribute is enhanced by Elizabeth Andersen’s stunning video, and the photos by Jim Coarse and Michele Spano.  In the Sam Scripps Studio of the Paul Taylor Dance Studio, 551 Grand Street, NYC.
