Award-winning choreographer/filmmaker MIMI GARRARD returns to New York Live Arts with “MIMI GARRARD AND MARCUS JARRELL WILLIS,” a program of dance both live and on video, including two world premieres.  Dancer Willis was an 8-year member of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and dancer and choreographer for Ailey II.  He is currently choreographing a work for the Juilliard dancers.  Garrard’s films have been recognized in film festivals around the world, recently in Argentina, India and Venezuela.
