Moving Towards Love: A Mind-Body Workshop for Women

Many of us have an awareness that our mind and body are intimately connected. But few of us tap into the power that can be accessed when we move the body rather than simply venting about stress.

Join us in a fun, safe environment as we playfully explore this intimate mind-body connection focused on creating more love in our lives.

Dr. Jennifer Rhodes will begin the event by discussing the psychological challenges around love and intimacy. Dr. Emily Polak will then lead the group through an exercise in embodied mindfulness, guiding participants to become aware of their experiences in their bodies. Finally, Patty Rose will lead the group in movement and journaling, facilitating a process of opening and embracing love in our lives.

This workshop is for all women, especially those who are looking for new love, who wish to strengthen their current relationships or who desire to make time for self care.

Participants will learn:

  • To use mindfulness and movement to tap into inner wisdom
  • To practice self-acceptance
  • To unlock creative energy necessary to move forward in life
  • To move towards love and enhance relationships
  • Tools to get past the feeling of being stuck

Wear comfortable clothes for movement / workout.

*Note: It is recommended you plan to be in socks or barefoot.
