Curated by Suhaly Bautista-Carolina in partnership with Willow Books, this event will bring voices of the past into the present. Poets: Keisha Gaye Anderson, Roberto Carlos Garcia, Sokunthary Svay and Randall Horton will read pieces by poets whose work inspires them (Willie Perdomo, Amiri Baraka, Claude McKay, Etheridge Knight, Stephen Jonas and Gwendolyn Brooks, among others). The poets will also share their own works.
