NeuroCulture: Dual Affinities — A Brain Awareness Week Event

A writer studying the science of dog-human relationships, a musician studying birdsong, a director studying visual processing, and a choreographer studying Parkinson’s Disease — are neuroscience and the arts natural bedfellows?

This fascinating panel brings together Animal Behaviorist and Psychologist Julie Hecht, Neuroscientist and Dance Movement Therapist Cecilia Fontanesi, and Eathan Janney, Ph.D. (neuroscience), a pianist and composer whose thesis included a study of birdsong. The panel will be moderated by Baruch Performing Arts Center Managing Director Dr. Ted Altschuler, Ph.D. (neuroscience). General Admission tickets are $16.00, students with ID are free.
