New York Women’s Foundation Hosts 2018 Radical Generosity Gala, Recognizing Leaders in the #Metoo Movement

Over 300 attendees will gather on Monday, October 15, 2018 for The New York Women’s Foundation 2018 Radical Generosity Gala at The Plaza Hotel to celebrate those who have made their mark as leaders and agents-of-change in the fields of philanthropy, health and criminal justice. In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the MeToo movement, the gala will honor individuals for their support of the movement.

Receiving the Radical Generosity Award, presented by Tarana Burke, founder of the Me Too Movement, will be actress and activist Alyssa Milano; Sony/ATV Recording Artists and Songwriters Hayley & Michaels; Director of the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University, Mary T. Bassett; and The Co-Founders of Level Forward, a startup studio that supports projects driven by women and persons of color, Abigail E. Disney, Adrienne Becker, Rachel Gould, and Angie G. Wang.

The annual event raises funds for The Foundation, a cross-cultural alliance that ignites action and invests in bold, community-led solutions across the city to create an equitable and just future for women and families.

The cocktail reception begins at 6:30 PM. The dinner and program will begin promptly at 7:30 PM. There will be a live performance by Hayley & Michaels and a silent auction throughout the event.
