Ann Goldstein is an editor and the head of the copy department at The New Yorker. She has translated books by Elena Ferrante, Pier Paolo Pasolini, and Alessandro Baricco, among others, and is the editor of “The Complete Works of Primo Levi,” which came out last year. Her translation of Jhumpa Lahiri’s “In Other Words” was published in February.
