The New Yorker Festival: Jason Isbell Talks with John Seabrook and Performs Live
Jason Isbell is an award-winning singer-songwriter. This year, he received a Grammy Award for Best Americana Album, for “Something More Than Free,” and one for Best American Roots Song, for “24 Frames.”
John Seabrook has been contributing to The New Yorker since 1989 and became a staff writer in 1993. He is the author of “Deeper: Adventures on the Net,” “Nobrow: The Culture of Marketing—The Marketing of Culture,” and “Flash of Genius: And Other True Stories of Invention.” His latest book, “The Song Machine: Inside the Hit Factory,” will be released in paperback in October.
