The New Yorker Festival | Jay and Mark Duplass Talk with Emma Allen

Jay and Mark Duplass are writers, directors, producers, and actors. The brothers co-created the HBO series “Togetherness,” which Mark Duplass also starred in, and are executive producers of the animated HBO comedy series “Animals” and co-creators of the recently announced HBO anthology series “Room 104.” Their feature-film collaborations include “The Puffy Chair,” “Baghead,” “Cyrus,” and “Jeff, Who Lives at Home.” Jay Duplass currently stars in the award-winning Amazon show “Transparent” and will appear in the upcoming films “Phil,” “Landline,” and “Beatriz at Dinner.” Mark Duplass has starred in the films “Safety Not Guaranteed,” “Creep,” “Your Sister’s Sister,” and “The One I Love,” and will appear in the upcoming film “Blue Jay.” In 2017, the brothers will publish a collection of humorous essays about their collaboration.
