New York's Cooperative Economy

The United Nations has named 2012 the International Year of Cooperatives. In this time of economic hardship for many New Yorkers, workers from neighborhoods throughout the city are forming cooperatives that create jobs, provide need services, and help to keep tax dollars within local communities.
