Join a conversation at the National Arts Club about the art market impact of non-fungible tokens, commonly known as NFTs. Experts discuss what constitutes an NFT, the reasons digital art has recently become so popular, and how traditional art institutions are evolving and adapting to this developing art form.

Panelists include visual artist Diana Sinclair, 2021 YoungArts National Finalist in Photography, named this year by Fortune as one of “The 50 most influential people in NFTs,” and curator of the internationally acclaimed NFT exhibition and auction The Digital Diaspora; and Karley Klopfenstein, Deputy Director and Chief Development Officer of the American Folk Art Museum in addition to being an art writer and artist.

To close the program, an original work of art is “minted” (created) into an NFT!

This is an in-person event. Proof of vaccine will be required. Masks are also required.
