Co-presented by the National Book Foundation and The New York Public Library, Notes from the Reading Life is a discussion series that brings prominent New York readers to library branches across the boroughs to talk about the books that inspire and excite them.
The final Notes from the Reading Life event will take place at the Richmondtown Library on Staten Island on Friday, June 29th, and will feature authors and Staten Island residents Alex Gilvarry (author of Eastman Was Here and From the Memoirs of a Non-Enemy Combatant) and Alexandra Kleeman (author of You Too Can Have a Body Like Mine and Intimations). The married couple will talk about some of the many books that have impacted and influenced their lives.
Admission is free, and light refreshments will be served following the event. All attendees will go home with a copy of one of the authors’ favorite books.Buy tickets/get more info now
