Please join us for a discussion of the book LAB: Building a Home for Scientists (Lars Müller Publishers, 2017) by Mark C. Fishman. Fishman will be joined in discussion by architect Toshiko Mori, FAIA, and designer Maya Lin.

The book discusses ideas for contemporary laboratory buildings and provides a history of laboratory design from the Middle Ages to today. Speakers will discuss how creative and sensitive architecture and design can influence a scientist’s experience of the laboratory environment.
