On Memory, History, and the Armenian Genocide: A Conversation between Fatma Müge Göçek and Eric Bogosian

American actor and author of Armenian descent Eric Bogosian will interview Fatma Müge Göçek, one of a few Turkish-born scholars who have publicly acknowledged the first genocide of the twentieth century. The discussion will include Göçek’s involvement with the Workshop for Armenian/Turkish Scholarship (WATS) in the past decade, her scholarship, as well the effect that her stance has had on her personal life. Bogosian will share his research project on Soghomon Tehlirian— the assassin of Talaat Pasha, the mastermind of the Armenian genocide.
