One-Act Play Festival: Staged Readings of Short New Works

The National Arts Club’s second annual One-Act Play Festival features short new works by notable playwrights—John Pielmeier, Steven Otfinoski, David Masello, among others—that examine the art of conversation. Each of the chosen works features two characters in dialogue, and it is through their talk that deep truths, conflicts, and resolution are reached.

The plays, which will be performed as staged readings, are a mix of the humorous, the poignant, and the absurd. The “art of conversation” is practiced at its best in these works.
