Join The National Arts Club for an online Q&A with fashion historian and lecturer Dr. Kate Strasdin, moderated by NAC Member David Zyla. This conversation focuses on Dr. Strasdin’s research on the fashion of Queen Alexandra.

Dr. Kate Strasdin is Senior Lecturer in Cultural Studies at Falmouth University and a Specialist Visiting Lecturer at the DeTao Masters Academy in Shanghai. She is an accredited lecturer for the Arts Society and honorary Deputy Curator of the Totnes Fashion and Textile Museum. Her first book, Inside the Royal Wardrobe: A Dress History of Queen Alexandra, explored the life through dress of Queen Alexandra. She is currently working on her second book revealing the secrets of a mid-19th century dress diary.
