You’re invited to explore the wisdom of the Hindu Faith as expressed by the Ramakrishna Order with special guest Swami Shantatmananda, senior monk of the Ramakrishna Order, who comes to us all the way from India to share his teaching. There will also be a special performance by kirtan artist Ambika. Kirtan is based on ancient chants with roots going back to over 500 years in Indian. Join us to experience this powerful and transformative music!

Sri Ramakrishna (born February 18, 1836 – and died August 16, 1886) was one of India’s great mystics and sages. His teachings are among the finest examples of Vanadate, one of the highest forms of Hindu Philosophy. His teachings lead to the formation of The Ramakrishna Order. With headquarters in Kolkata, the Order is one of the largest and most respected religious institutions in India today.

Swami Shantatmananda is a senior monk of the Ramakrishna Order, one of the largest and most respected religious orders in India, and heads the Delhi centre of the Ramakrishna Mission.
