Performance: Tamy Ben-Tor

A chaotic collection of contemporary social axioms is chewed up and vomited out in this new performance, part of a longtime collaboration between artists Tamy Ben-Tor and Miki Carmi. Using readymade plastic masks, fabrics and other props, these creatures become grotesque life size puppets, performing a dance of vanity as they spout ideas which have been legitimized and institutionalized—shedding new light upon the idea of “normal.”
