Join us on Wednesday, June 24 at 4:00pm, for a live podcast recording with renowned author, historian, and Hunter College professor Victoria Johnson, in conversation with Randy Cohen, host of the Person, Place, Thing podcast and radio show. The event will take place at Hunter College’s Ida K. Lang Recital Hall.
Victoria Johnson is Professor of Urban Policy and Planning at Hunter College (CUNY), specializing in cultural policy, philanthropy, and New York City history. Her newest book, Glorious Country, has received rave reviews since its release this spring. She is also the author of American Eden, a finalist for the National Book Award, the LA Times Book Prize in Biography, and the Pulitzer Prize for History. Johnson is a Guggenheim Fellow and holds a doctorate in sociology from Columbia University.
