After 12 years writing "The Ethicist" for The New York Times Magazine, Randy Cohen invites you to his new project, Person Place Thing, an interview show in which one amazing guest tells three insightful and often hilarious stories.
Professor Alan M. Dershowitz has been called one of the "most distinguished defenders of individual rights," "the best-known criminal lawyer in the world," and "Israel’s single most visible defender." He is the author of more than 1,000 articles in magazines, newspapers, and journals, tackling issues of civil liberties. In his newest book, Taking the Stand, Dershowitz reveals the evolution of his own thinking on issues like censorship and the First Amendment, civil rights, abortion, and the increasing role that science plays in legal defense. A graduate of Brooklyn College and Yale Law School, Professor Dershowitz is currently the Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School.
