Plagued by Fire: The Dreams and Furies of Frank Lloyd Wright—Paul Hendrickson in Conversation

This event will be livestreamed.

In a reassessment of the life of Frank Lloyd Wright, whose creative brilliance was matched by his rank egotism, Paul Hendrickson has produced a biography that will change the way we understand the mind and work of the premier American architect. In showing Wright’s facades along with their cracks, the new book helps to form a fresh, deep, and more human understanding of Wright. Hendrickson, author of the acclaimed Hemingway’s Boat and professor at the University of Pennsylvania, speaks with Kai Bird, executive director of the Leon Levy Center for Biography.
