Plating the Past: Tasting the 19th Century

Artifacts come from behind the velvet ropes for an evening tasting event.  Foods popular in the 19th century are to be served on rare 19th century china. Try such dishes as syllabub, mini savory pies, chicken curry New York style, and lavender pound cake as historical consultant and collector Allen Miller speaks about New York-made ceramics and glassware. Space is limited.
